The polluted lubricant-coolant enters the system and is distributed in the filter's accumulation area, creating a basin where it must pass through the filter fabric by gravity. During this process, the polluting particles separate from the liquid and deposit on the fabric.
When the fabric becomes clogged, the level of dirty liquid rises and lifts a float. This activates a microswitch that advances the filter fabric. A scraper separates the dirty fabric from the sludge, which is rewound, reducing the weight and volume of waste to be disposed of.
