Spin: How It Works
Spin: How It Works
- Dirty liquid inlet
- Pollutant accumulation
- Drum with filter panels
- Catenary with scraping buckets
- Cleaned liquid
- Sludge discharge
The contaminated liquid is conveyed into the purifier, where it passes through the filter panels mounted on the drum, which can be octagonal for the Spin or circular for the Minispin model. The filtered liquid flows into the storage tank, while the dirt is deposited on the filter panels. As long as the layer of dirt allows a constant flow, the liquid levels inside and outside the drum remain balanced, allowing the dirty liquid to continue to be purified.
When the filter panels become clogged and the flow slows down, a microswitch detects the increase in the level of dirty liquid and activates the rotation of the drum, exposing clean panels. At the same time, the catenary with scraping buckets is activated, which removes the particulate accumulated on the bottom of the purifier, guaranteeing continuous and optimal operation.
